Splash Program is every Friday at the Holly Center pool from 6:00pm to 7:15pm. Individuals with disabilities and their families can come and swim in Holly Center’s heated pool. Bring: Towels, clothes for humid conditions, bathing suits for swimmers, flip flops, and a great attitude. Spring Festival is a yearly event at the Holly Center always the Saturday before mother's day in May. The event has games, rides, auctions, food, entertainment, plants and much more. It is open to the general public and it is fun for boys and girls of all ages. Each year there is something unique to catch the interests of the people. Special Olympics is a yearly event normally in early or late May. Individuals with disabilities come from all over the Eastern Shore of Maryland to participate in the events. Special Olympics is in two locations in the Salisbury area. Track and field, soft ball, and other outdoor events takes place at SSU’s athletic field. Swimming sports take place at the Holly Center the week after the field events. Public is encouraged to come and cheer on the athletes with their family and friends. |
Car show takes place at the same time as the Spring Festival. People are encouraged to bring their classic or modified cars for all to see. Car owners can compete for prizes, enjoy the sites and talk shop with other car owners. Cars need not be finished products; works in progress are encouraged to come as well. The Car Show is one of the main highlights of the Spring Festival so your automobile is sure to be enjoyed by many people. |

Annual Dances Holly Center has 6 to 7 dances a year for the residents of Holly Center and group homes around the Delmarva area. At least one dance every other month including spring dance, winter dance, Easter dance, and many others. This is an opportunity for people living in group homes to renew old acquaintances, and make new friends. Food, drink, and music are supplied by volunteers and HCI. Make a Difference Day happens in October. The campus at Holly Center is cleaned up and made ready for the winter months. Volunteers from all over meet, have fun, and do yard work for the Holly Center campus. There are a lot of events at the Holly Center keeping the place clean is important to visitors and residents alike. |

Garden day (Earth Day in April) is one of the twice a year clean up of the Holly Center campus getting it ready for the summer months. Raking leaves, pulling weeds, and straightening up the Adventure Garden (wheel chair accessible garden) are some of the activities. Holly Center is a busy place, this insures a comfortable, and relaxing place for the residents. The work is appreciated by the residents and staff alike.

Amenities Holly Center is a state run facility, while the state pays for the care and well being of the residence, it doesn't not cover everything. Haircuts, Birthday Gifts, Christmas Gifts, Cloths, and Eye Glasses are not covered by state funding. The funding for these items come from concerned friends and family of the residents, and threw the chartable gifts made to HCI. |

Holly Helpers are volunteers that operate a resale shop. Their resale boutique is open the third Wednesday of each month. The funds generated benefit the residents at Holly Center. The items they sell at the boutique are donated items from individuals. The items for sale are sold to the public, residents, and staff. |
